About Emma Purdie Design

Emma Purdie Design was established in 2004 when Emma decided to put together a collection of luxury textiles which combined her love for fine fabrics colour and screen print techniques.

This website showcases the original vibrant textiles produced by Emma Purdie.

Emma's designs include Lampshades, Bags, Cushions and Purses. Each one is uniquely handmade, screen printed by hand and carefully constructed to the highest quality.

Artist statement

After studying a Foundation in Art and Design Emma went on to study Textile Design at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in Farnham where she specialised in Printed Textiles. After graduation in 2001, Emma began her career as a freelance designer, Emma worked for many agencies designing and selling work for fashion and interiors, three years later she launched her own label creating textiles which fuses her love for screen print, fabric and colour.
