New Purse Design!

I have been playing around with some new hand printed purse designs.  I love my little bird print especially when combining it with a patterned background….other colours coming soon.

Trying out some new designs for my Lampshades at the moment, hoping to develop some new shapes and sizes using some brand new print designs. When the samples come back i’ll post some pics!

The Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey was a success!

Many thanks to all those who came to see me at Bovey Tracey this year! Despite the weather on Saturday everyone seemed to enjoy the show. We had a great weekend!
Lots of amazing work on show as always, all of which was very tempting! I love my new Hanne Rysgaard ceramic piece! Everyone we spoke to really liked the new work and the cushions and lampshades were very popular.

New website is launched today!

After having the previous website design for a few years now, it was finally time for a redesign and update (to make sure we make the most of this fandangled web technology) the new www.materialgirl.co.uk website has finally been launched (although it is still under a teeny bit of development).
